Allergies/ Asthma and Allergy Shots

My daughter who is eight years old and unfortunately taken after me with allergies. This particular Summer she has had a heck of a time. She has coughed all summer literally. She coughs up so much flim that she vomits. She has been on various antibiotics, and she is now on prednisone which is the third time this year. Her pediatrician ordered a chest xray which was negative. So my thoughts were okay why is she coughing so much. Is it the drainage, something she is around. The pediatrician and allergist both recommended allergy shots...

My 6 Month Old Had Been Wheezing and Coughing Since Birth Need Some Advice

This is my third child, the first that I tried nursing. I had to stop nursing when he was a month old becuase he became very jondice and his bilirubin levels were a 9. He has had a terrible cough and wheezing since he was born. At a month his pediatrician placed him on a nebulizer machine with albuterol and pulmicort. These treatments have never worked for him but the doctor insists that I continue to admnister them.
