Advice/Suggestion On Baby Shower Gifts

Hi...My workplace is having a combined baby shower for three women who are expecting this spring. All three are having their first, all are having boys, and all have had other baby showers. The registry items at Babies R Us are all too expensive, especially considering I have to buy three of everything! I would really like to get something original and something they will use or need. Any suggesttions or things YOU got at showers that were special, memorable, or especially thoughtful?

Breastfeeding Problems with Teething Baby

My daughter has been fussy lately with feeding. Until about a month ago, she always needed to nurse for at least 30-40 minutes at a time (at about 3-hour intervals), and she still feeds for that long sometimes, usually for the first and last feedings of the day. Seeking Dry Bed Mornings

Blankie and Thumb Sucking

I am seven months pregnant and my youngest is just about to turn three. She has a special blankie that she sleeps with and sucks her thumb with. Our pediatrician said that around three is when we should deal with the issue. I think we waited too long. Do You Work Around Babies Schedule or Do You Make the Baby Adust to Yours.??

I have a two year old and an 8 month old. Many days we do not leave the house as it is always someones nap time. My 2 year old will only sleep in her bed... my 8 month old will sleep in the car. However I dont think a 20 minute nap in a car is good quality sleep. A friend told me that she just takes her kids wherever she is going regardless of the time of day and if it is naptime.. Sleeping Arrangements When Traveling

Our little girl just turned 3 and we are going on vacation with her in a couple weeks. Previously when we travelled she slept in her pack n play, but now she is much too big and is accustomed to sleeping in a "big girl bed". She has never been too good with the co sleeping arrangement as she finds it too distracting to have us so close and never stops flopping around and asking questions.
