Weaning off Bedtime Bottle

Hello, We have a 1 year old little girl. She is off the bottle except at night. She gets a bottle during our bedtime routine. Lately, it's turned into a game for her. She plays with the nipple, drinks, cries, drinks again, plays with the cap, hits me, fingers in my nose, etc. She is tired. We put her in her crib (wide awake), she rolls to her side and goes to sleep all on her. It's getting more difficult. Our ped. said it's time to take that last bottle away. Can you guys please give me your tips on how to wean off the bottle?

Breastfeeding Babe Refuses Bottle

I have been breastfeeding my baby exclusivly since she was 2 weeks old. Now that she is 4 months old I would like to seperate from her for longer than 1 hour. I have tried many bottles with many different nipples. She refuses to take it, no matter who gives her the bottle. I have now tried a cup. She takes a few sips and then doesn't want it. I know she knows how to drink from it. She just doesn't want to. What do I do? Mommy needs a break! I forgot to mention that it is breastmilk in the bottle!

Nursing to Sleep

I am an AP mom, I co sleep/breastfeed/babywear. I would like to hear from other AP moms about putting baby down for a nap/for the night. I have a nine month old baby girl who has never fallen asleep on her own. She always nurses to sleep. I'm looking for other moms who have done the same and wondering when/how you transitioned from nursing down to your child falling asleep on her own? At what age? Is it child led ? Thanks mamas!

Toddler Uses Bottle for Comfort & Won't Give It Up

My 22 month old DD is addicted to her bottle. Whenever she is nervous or upset, she demands it even if she had one 2 mins before and we know she is not hungry or thirsty. If we don't give it to her- she throws a fit of screaming that is literally out of control. My pedia saw it first hand today and even was a bit shocked at the level and length of her fits. Doc even said she doesn't recommend going cold turkey b/c she thinks it would be too traumatic for her. She is a very sensitive child. I am at my wits end....I don't think there is...
