Possible Eczema on Baby's Scalp
I have a 7mo old baby boy that has a very dry, itchy, scalp. He is always scratching it especially when he is tired and has caused it to bleed and scab. His pediatrician told me to use head and shoulders shampoo and a soft toothbrush to loosen the scales (every other day) and to rub cortizone cream on his forehead when it itches. Neither one has made it any better really. It looks awful. The doc did not say if it's eczema but it sounds like it is based on what I have read on the web, EXCEPT, I have not heard of it in the scalp...? Does...
