Just wondering if theres any great/helpful products out there I wasn't aware of.

Mine are (in no specific order)

1-Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive
These are the softest diapers ever! I have tried store brands, Huggies, LOVES etc. You will pay a little more, but well worth it. Their wipes are also the best I ever tried. My daughter has sensitive skin and these are great.

2-Aveeno Baby Products
A little more expensive, but well worth it. I try all of my daughters products on myself first. I tried store brand baby wash/shampoo and my hair felt like straw! I like the scent free ones

3- Munchkin Dishwasher Basket
Super helpful. This basket with a lid holds all of your bottle nipples, tops, straws etc so they are not falling all over the dishwasher

4-NUK pacifiers and bottles. I had to go back to work and my daughter would not take a bottle. We tried many different kinds and these worked wonders

5-Sleepy Time Baby Wrap- These are a great alternativeto rigid baby carriers. They are great for younger babies, under 6 months or so. They are comfortable for mom/dad and babies love it because it mimics the womb and provides closeness to mom/dad. Dont be initimidated by how you have to wrap it around yourself, the website has step by step instructions.

A few honorable mentions- diaper genie, Britax convertable carseat (did tons of research and got the Marathon), Dannon Baby Yogurt- it comes in little cups, just the right size for my 9 mo old she loves them.

Ok I know this sounds like an advertisement..but it's not

What can I do next?

1. Miracle Blanket!!!! Changed my nights forever. Wish I had gotten it much sooner.

2. Dr. Brown's bottles. Helped with colic almost immediately. We also switched to Enfamil Gentlease which helped immensely.

3. Leachco Safer Bather Infant Bath Pad. Got it from Amazon. Didn't want a honking piece of plastic that we'd only use for a few months. This pad fits snuggly in our kitchen sink and our LO absolutely loves bathtime since we got this. She always looks so comfortable when she's in it. Stores easy and is always dry by the next day's bath.

4. Mobile - made by Tiny Love. LO loves it, comes with lights, plays classical music and always keeps her happily occupied for at least 20 minutes. It also has a remote control so you can restart it without LO seeing you.

5. Pack-n-Play with changing station. Immensely helpful if you have a 2 story home. Ours is made by Carters and has an organizer for diapers and supplies.

And of course a swing and bouncy seat. Swing was a hand-me-down, so I can't recommend the style - they don't make it anymore. Seat is FP Oceans Wonder. LO loves watching the bubbles and fishes. We keep it on the setting where she activates the bubbles/music/fish.

So I would have to say that my top things for him are Bedtime bath wash (I don't know how much it really helps, but since I started using it he has slept a lot better lol), his swing (he couldn't nap without it), Avent Microwave Sterilizer, Onesies (rarely does my son wear anything else but a onesie type outfit. They make things so much easier!), and his huge receiving blankets/baby wraps (he needed ones bigger then you can get at the store and a lady from my mom's church made me two of them that are really large and wrap perfectly around his big body).

Boogie Wipes.

And the little yellow foam bear shaped mat you can put on the bottom of the tub to cushion baby in the regular tub--I always hated baby bathtubs & I tried ALL of them! LOL

1. A really soft blanket they can hold. Son LOVED his.

2. Burp cloths. Small enough, thick enough and durable enough for anything.

3. Portable changing pad, I hate the sight of changing tables in public places...well bare changing tables; otherwise they're a beautiful relief when a couple of bathrooms don't have a changing table at all :(

4. The formula divider. Don't remember the proper name, but it has three sections and a spout to pour liquid and powder formula from...I used powdered and it's SO handy! small and portable.

5. Onsies! All my son wanted to wear, he got hot easily and they're so much easier to pop into the wash machine. Unsnap in the middle of the night and go on. Though, during the day, he preferred to wear them with one sock always on the right foot and no sock on the left.

Congratulations!

I love Shaklee baby products especially the massage oil because we can use it, too. :) I trust them because I know they're safe and guaranteed.

I also use Shaklee household cleaning and laundry products because they're chemical free and safe for everyone in the family - don't have to have something separate for the wee one. I'm no longer worried even about my cat or dogs.
