Looking for Advice on Infant Skincare

My 5 month old daughter is very chubby and has very red, chaffed skin on the back of her knees. I'm sure it's because her legs are so chubby, but I can't find anything that helps it. I've tried Aquaphor, Vaseline, A&D, baby oil - nothing works. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks!!

My 5 Year Old Has Excema

My 5 year old daughter has excema. When she was an infant, it was so bad that she has scratches all over her face. She was reffered to a determatologist. He gave me some cream w/a prescription in it. This does not help her at all. We have controlled the dryness on her scalp by using T-gel ut her skin is still very dry. Last time we couldn't control the dryness, the doctor put her on steriods for 7 days. I hate the fact that the only way to help her skin is to put her on steriods. I have heard lots of bad thing about steriods. The doctor...

5 Year-old Daughter with a Rash and I Don't Know What to Do :(

We went to the fountains yesterday and she ran around in the water for hours (it's chlorinated). Now she's played in the water like this before so I'm pretty sure it's not that. Also she peed the bed last night (still having night time reversion here). This morning she shows me the inside of her legs and there is this rash with red dots (some with white heads on them - no worries I know better then to touch them). So I check in her panties and, sure enough, it's up there too!! She's uncomfortable, of course, but not crying. But she DID just...

Chicken Pox and Medication

Hi! Today my daughter broke out with what we believe to be the chicken pox. We are all fine with it and consider it part of growing up. I brought her to the dr this evening, just to make sure I wasn't misdiagnosing. He believes they are chicken pox, and wants to put her on a medication to help minimize the effects. From the little research I have done, the recommendations for the meds are more for older people, or people with weakened immune systems. She is a healthy little 5 year old. I guess my question is...did you use...
