Safety Gate: Safety 1St Perfect Fit or the First Years Everwhere Gate

I'm buying a gate to go into my daughter's bedroom door, as we're moving her into a bed in the next couple weeks and I want to "gate" her door. I want it to be pressure mounted. I'm trying to decide between the Safety 1st Perfect Fit or The First Years Everywhere Gate (found both on Target website). Both are plastic with a translucent panel so she can't climb the gate. My key question is how easy is the pressure mounted function? Is it fairly easy to put up and take down the gate each time I enter and exit her room? Does anyone...

Fall B-day and Kindergarten

We had our identical twin girls tested for Kindergarten readiness. They will be 5 September 2nd 2008 and we were told they are "Kindergarten Ready". I've heard a lot about starting kids too early who were not developmentally ready but what about delaying Kindergarten a year for kids who are developmentally ready? Is there some negative consequence to doing that? Will they be bored? I've been at home with them since they were born and they will have had one year of preschool (two days a week for three hours a day).

So, my youngest daughter, who just graduated from the Air Force, also got engaged that same weekend (she had no idea!). Boyfriend's parents are "well to do." Not wealthy, but I would say upper middle class. He is their only son, and their youngest child. He is their only son together. The two older sisters are quite a bit older, and have both been married for some time, so no really recent wedding expenses for them. 5 Year Old Driving Me Nuts!!

I am babysitting a 5 year old and 5 monthold. I also have a 16 monthold. The 5 year old is driving me nuts becuase she never stops talking. I mean never. I can ask her to b quiet while i am on the phone or something and she usually well but not always. I do i deal with this without driving myslef crazy. Edited version I play with her all day long. We only wacht about 1 hour of tv a day and that is when i am cooking. I take all 3 kids out to do something fun and educational everyday. The talking is worse when she being stimulated. She...
