I am so ready for this election to be over. I am not a fan of either candidate. I don't care for Biden so the only person left to get excited about is Romney's VP pick. Sad!! Am I the only one who feels like that?
Oh, my! If Trump was the VP pick it would be a circus!! However, not any more so than the one that we have had in the White House for the past 3 1/2 years! I want those clowns to go home. That is why I am hoping Romney picks a decent running mate.
Please please please let it be Donald Trump. Then let the circus begin! That would keep the comedy writers in priceless material for months.

The whole campaigning process is way too long and expensive.
A general election in the UK takes 4 weeks.
Short and sweet.
The serving prime minister announces the date (the election has to happen within five years of the previous election, but the date is up to the prime minister to fix) and then it's over within a month.
WHY are we sorely lacking this simple elegant efficiency?
It makes me almost want to lobby to re-join the United Kingdom and declare the dust up in 1776 a big mistake.

There has been MANY rumors that Obama is going to drop Biden as well - there has been RUMORS that he will pick up Hillary....I don't know...sounds far fetched to me. But they are RUMORS - nothing factual....sounds a lot like DC and the powers that be - doesn't it?
