I really like her a lot but I have heard her say that she has zero interest. Marco Rubio or Bobby Jindal would be great.

Am I the only one who found it interesting that an Obama supporter would mention opportunistic flip flopping? OMG, that is hilarious!

I don't really have a strong opinion either way on Conoleezza Rice as I am enthusiastically voting for President Obama. The Obamas are "regular people" like most of America, not born rich and privileged, and I trust him to make the best decisions for our country.

I don't think she is interested. However, she would be a great choice. I think it would help Romney pick back up those fiscal conservatives who are horrified by his new right wing radicalism. It would show there is a place in the Republican party for the center/moderate right. It would be great for him to stop pandering to the religious zealots. Maybe he can go back to being the moderate he was for Mass. I still wouldn't vote for him, but I would understand how people could.

I'd love to see her as VP, I love Condi Rice.
But I don't think she will go for it.

I think she is the only possible running mate that could give Romney a chance. But you will never see a Presidential candidate ask someone that powerful and connected to be VP. They ALWAYS pick a goofball. Some lovable, good natured guy that is willing to do personal apperances and not be involved in policy or decision making. Having a possible rival is not going to happen. Condaleeza is way too powerful and hands on. I believe that's why she isn't interested. I also believe she might run on her own, when the time is right. Being tied to a losing campaign with Mitt will not help her with that! She is one Republican that I completely disagree with, but respect.

i don't like her much, i thought she was a pretty ineffective SoS (although admittedly she got handed a basket of turds.) but i think she'd be a smart choice for mitt if he was lucky enough to lure her in. she's smart, experienced and well-accessorized with minority status.
the only way he'd get me to even look at him would be to go with huntsman, who is far too sane and moderate so isn't even being considered.
he'll go with another party-line ranter like jindal. which is good. they all lie, but at least all the same panderers would be pandering in the same pandering box.

For Romney? Not even an option. She is way out of his league. I don't think there is anyone of any caliber that would waste their chance running with Romney. I like. Bobby jindel (sp) but again, I would hope he wouldn't throw away a chance at running for the white house with Romney.

I don't think she would do it (in other words, I don't think she's giving lip service to saying she's not interested.) She butted heads with Bush enough as it was. I don't think she would agree with Romney's positions enough to be willing to be on his ticket.

Secretary of State is one thing.
Her being in a VP position would be sort of putting her in a lady in waiting position and I'm not sure she would consider that as a good career move.
I don't think VP would be an active enough role for her.
From her point of view, I can see why she'd turn it down.
