Never Really Produced Alot of milk...now Working and Pumping Is Even Harder
I had my daughter in the beginning of June and didn't get my milk in until about a week. On top of that she didn't latch properly, thus the the milk was coming in very slowly. I sought help from a lactation consultant and learned how to get her on properly and pumped after each feeding to stimulate more milk production. I was never able to pump more than 3oz per side at any time. I was home with her all summer and we eventually figured it out.
