Need Advice About Losing Weight

I have been doing the Richard Simmons Food mover and have lost 11 pounds, great! However, I've been doing it since December 1. I eat about 1200 calories a day usually alittle less I don't have a daily exercise routine, but I clean houses for 6 hours everyday. Someone told me that the richard Simmons plan is outdated & maybe that's why it's not working well. I have to agree that it's outdated alot of foods aren't in the books. It's frustrating! I need to lose like 50 lbs more. I am open to any & all suggestions. TIA

Boarding My Dog Within Palm Beach County

Does anyone know a place that is NOT cage free for boarding dogs within West Palm Beach to Boca Area? We have a dog that we have boarded at cage free facilites. She gets over excited and does not know when to stop. She ends up getting sun burnt (if the facility is indoor/outdoor) and over heated. We found a great place up in Orlando where each dog had their own large sized room that was air conditioned and had a TV. The attendants would individually walk the dogs a few times a day. Portion Control? Low Carb?

Hi Moms - looking to jump start a little weight loss this spring and would love to hear how you were most successful. I know fad/crash diets are not the long term answer to changing habits and keeping weight off, etc., but am curious to hear what worked best for you to get going on your weight loss goals. Some swear by Weigh Watchers type portion control, others cut out carbs/dairy/alcohol etc. I know adding more exercise is key. Just looking to see what worked well for others. I'm looking to lose 10-15 pounds and would love to hear from you.

Looking for Good/ Fair Priced Place for 12 Yr Old Dog with Medical Needs a Week

I have never boarded my dog but I am new here and will be gone for the 4th of July week. I usually take her but she has a hard time traveling these days. She is my baby. I am looking for somewhere she can stay that week. This year she has become diabetic and I give her 2 injections a day of insulin. she is not bothered by this and is very gentle dog. do any of you know of a place with good staff that may fit. I am going to check with vet as well.

Edward Hospital vs Rush Copley

I just found out that I am pregnant with baby #3. Baby #1 was born in the Alternative Birthing Center at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, and I had a wonderful birth experience. Baby #2 was born at Edward Hospital, and I had a so-so experience. I delivered both kids naturally without an epidural. Now I'm wondering if any of you moms have delivered at both Rush Copley and Edward, and whether or not you would favor one hospital over another. I live close to Edward Hospital and like my OB, but I wasn't impressed with the hospital...
