Infantino Vs. Ergo Carrier

Hello Moms! I have a friend thats interested in getting a carrier. I told her that I've read and heard great things about the Ergo Carrier. She sent me an email today and I wanted to know your thoughts/advice, since I only own a sling and have no experience with either the Infantino or the Ergo. I had a quick question. I'm looking for baby carriers...and I definitely don't want the sling. My husband mentioned that you were recommended the ERGO carrier? I read some reviews on it, and it sounds great. But my husband is a bit hesistant...

Best Infant Sling for Short Moms

I'm about to have my second baby any day and am looking for a recommendation on the best sling or wrap-type carrier (not a basic Baby Bjorn-type front carrier) to use with a newborn that will work for my specific shape. I tried a couple when my 2 year old was an infant that didn't work well for me; i.e., Infantino sling-rider seems like it's made for larger frames. I am 5 feet with a small frame, but much more curvy than thin...about 120 pounds at normal weight (155 pregnant at the moment) and larger chested (36 DD or bigger when nursing)....

Baby Carriers or Slings?

Any advice on baby carriers for newborns and beyond six months? Feedback on pros/cons on brands like the ERGO, Baby Bjorn, Beco and Infantino backpack carrier would be great. I'd also love to hear feedback on reasons why someone would use a sling (I'm a bit afraid to use it given the recent recall) vs. carrier. Thanks!
