Hello. I have been on Yaz for two years. I love it! My cramps, flow and number of days in the cycle have gotten so much better. (Too much info?)
Good luck!
My doctor and I have decided to try Yaz to help me with my moods, acne and cramps and she mentioned that I may or will experiance breakthrough bleeding. Has anyone experienced this after switched from one brand to Yaz? Thanks.
Please no comments about no bc, IUD or the ring. I like being on the pill, it works for me and the other two are really not for me.
Well I started the Yaz, but it has effected by blood pressure, so this will be my 2nd and last month on Yaz.

I've been on Yaz for quite a while - probably the last two years for the most part. My doctor took me off it for a bit and, after trying other brands, I requested to go back to Yaz. I've never once had a problem with breakthrough bleeding. I guess it affects everyone differently! It certiainly makes my moods better. I was AWFUL on the other brands! Good luck!

I have had terrrible problems with my periods all my life and I'm 52 now. I've tried everything and Yaz is the only thing I have tried so far that has really helped me. I used to get so severely depressed I would cry for no reason, I would be so tired for the whole week before my period, I would get severe migraines that would send me to the ER almost every month on the first day of my period. I still get small periods but severe back pain, fatigue, and some headaches but none of the depression anymore. It has made a huge difference. I hope it works for you.

I was on it even after my tubal. It seemed to help with the moods, acne and cramps. There was a lot of breakthrough bleeding for me. Almost everytime we were intimate there would be breakthrough for a day or two. It was not bad enough for me to quit taking it for that reason. I just quit taking them when my script ran out. Try it, you want to give it at least 6 months to see if you really like it.
