I'm 26 weeks pregnant with my first and was wondering if it's safe to use witch hazel while I'm pregnant? I've just recently started using it and it seems to really help clear up my skin. Any help would be very appreciated!!

What can I do next?

Of course it's safe. Just don't drink it ;-). I personally can't use witch hazel because I'm allergic to it and it causes my skin to burn and rash badly.

I think its relatively safe. If you are concerned, email your doctor or call the nurse in the morning and ask. It helped clear up my skin too. Congrats on your pregnancy!

It will not effect the baby. I think you should be fine using it. I know the skin gets crazy when you are pregnant. At least you found something that works for your skin.

Definitely. It is great for the skin, and for soothing hemorrhoids. My doc told me in my last pregancy to go ahead and use it if I wanted to. It is natural so no chemicals--but watch for those that might have alcohol. I have seen some in the store. Totally not necessary.

I used it with no problems! It does work, I agree with you there.
