I have several items to sell now that my son has out grown them (car seat, bouncer, etc). Can anyone recommend a good place to sell them?
I tried Kid to Kid but they were not going to give me much at all for them.
Thanks

As long as the car seat is less than 5 years old, JBF sale would be my recommendation. As others have said the Denton sale is coming in May. Otherwise Divine Consign is another option but they may have already done their sales.
Just Between Friends is a great option...especially if you want to get more for your money. Too bad the Grapevine sale is this week...it is too late. Check it out... http://www.jbfsale.com/default.cfm
You will get more for your items at a consignment sale than a store. Check out: http://www.consignmentsalequeen.com/p/getting-started.html for tips on how to maximize your profits while minimizing your work.
have u tried craigslist?
Try Carousel Consignment, it is this April 22-24th at Christ United Methodist in Farmers Branch! Visit the website at http://www.carouselconsign.com for more information. You can e-mail for more information and they will get you signed up right away. It is that simple! Please tell them K. Arras referred you.
Drop-off will be Thursday, April 22nd from 11am-5:00pm. We will be having our pre-sales Thursday night starting with Volunteer Pre-sales at 6:00pm, Consignors at 7:00pm and NEW! Teachers and New Moms pre-sale at 7:30pm. We will also be allowing Consignors to bring two friends in with them on Pre-sale nights instead of just one.
We need volunteers! Last season we lacked enough help to make the sale and breakdown run as smooth as it should have. Any consignor/friend/consignor's husband who volunteers for 2.5 hours will get to come to the volunteer pre-sale at 6:00pm. We are also looking for consignors who are interested in working up to an additional 10 hours for up to 100% comission on their sales. These sales can only run with volunteer help. Please let me know if you are interested in helping!
I agree withe the jbfsale. Since Grapevine is going on this weekend, try the Denton sale.

Baby Consign is a twice-yearly consignment sale in Frisco. You get 65% of the sale price on your items; if you vounteer or refer another consignor, you can earn up to 75%. Their next sale is April 16-18, with consignors allowed to shop a day early (before open to the public). If you are interested, their website is www.babyconsign.com.
The ByeBuy Consignment Sale is April 22-24... You might still be able to get into that one. Check out www.bbconsign.com. The sale is at Garden Ridge Church (Main & Garden Ridge in Lewisville). I think consignors may get to go to the pre-sale too!
Good luck!

Just Between Friends (jbfsale.com) will be in Denton May 6-8. This is a good place to sell.
I agree with Valerie who recommended Bye-Buy Consign. They have a 2 sales per year. Next one in April. Website is very easy. Explains how to become a consigner. You price your own items (keeping in mind that there is a percentage that they will get to keep), download and print off your price tags, and drop off your items at the sale site. You can also become a volunteer and that allows you into the pre-sale the night before the public gets to shop. Items not sold on Friday, Saturday get marked 1/2 price for Sunday morning. They also invite Vendors to set up tables, so if you have a child-related home business, you can sell there, too.
Try Craig's list. No place will take the car seat for liability reasons. You may try to sell it at a garage sale, but you won't get much for anything at a garage sale! I sold a stroller on craig's list and it went pretty quickly. Got $50 for it (sit n stand type) which is about 40% of what I paid for it new. Not great, but better than nothing!
