Nope. Supplements don't work.

You need to eat healthy food and exercise. That's the only thing that works.

I don't suggest any of them. Find a good whole food multivitamin, increase your cardio workouts, and remember that your body can't burn fat unless it's being fed properly, so don't starve yourself.

If you want to ramp up weight loss or getting in shape:

1. exercise and include weight lifting.

2. Find out what your calorie goal should be based on your BMR and amount of weight you have to lose, then track calories using an app or website.

3. Get at least 8 hours of sleep every night.

Supplements don't work, but you can do it if you put in the effort! :)

Unless your diet or body is missing something, there is no need to supplement. If you add more of something you have, that does not mean you improve it - it often means you throw things off balance. For example - water - it's a good thing, but too much of it will throw off your electrolytes.

Talk to your doctor about nutrition, get your blood test for levels (iron, vitamin D, etc.). Then go from there.

Also, see a doctor to figure out if there is a medical reason that you are having difficulty, IF you are having difficulty.

Hi M.! It can get so confusing can't it? I am sorry I disagree with pretty much everything that has been said. If eating healthy and exercising were the way to really truly lose weight, we would not have the obesity rate we do. I know many people who "eat right" and stay active but the weight still creeps up. It is not only what we put into our bodies, but how quickly we get the toxicity out. I will PM you a link that will explain it. Along with some info that has helped me and 1000s others...with real food, supplements and exercise. It is a whole body system. You are worth the 10 mins it will take to look at it.

I take calcium and a multi vitamin. I would ask the doctor if they think you need a supplement. You could take a supplement that you really shouldn't take so see your dr first.
