I know it can take a while to start my period after nursing (I stopped in June when my daughter turned one). What was everyone else's time frame as to their first period post-partum?

What can I do next?

Interesting how everyone is so very different on this issue. I nursed my baby for 28 months. Obviously it was not exclusive breastfeeding until that time but it was when I started my period again, she was only 3 months old. Good luck.

When I stopped nursing my daughter, it took me about 2 months to have a normal period.

Some aren't so lucky that even with full time nursing can start their cycles up just a few months post-partum. I'm nursing my 15 month old and have just started my cycles regularly. I had one cycle right when he turned 1 and then nothing else for 2 months. Just continue to enjoy the time w/o your period. :-) It'll come back probably soon ... be warned sometimes those first cycles after a baby come back with a vengance. They were horrible after my first 2 kids ... my period hasn't been too bad so far after baby #3.

I nursed my daughter for one full year, had my first period on her 13th month birthday and was pregnant again five months later!
