Do any of you moms sell it? How did you get started? Do you have to host parties at your home? I work in an office setting and a lot of the women are asking about someone to buy from, so I am thinking of picking it up as a side business! I am very self-motivated!

* To those that sell, how did you get started??

TIA!

So What Happened?

Momma L - thanks! I didn't find they were any cheaper on ebay, and I am an ebay addict! I find them to run about $5 a piece for a bar, plus shipping, and you can get 6 for $25 plus shipping through scentsy. Am I just not searching hard enough on ebay?

Angela - if you do the "build a 6 pack" throgh scentsy, you get one for free, so it is 6 for 25! Check it out!! See, I am already selling it!!

I have about a gajillion friends who sell scentsy. In fact, that's all I ever read about on my facebook wall is their power meetings and conferences and parties and new scents and specials and awards and voting to bring back retired scents and "hurry up and get your order in, I'm placing my weeks order tonight" and how much they *LOVE* their scentsy family...

But if you know women at work wanting a rep, then by all means go for it. Apparently, a lot of people have fun with it, it isn't for me though. (Though I do have a burner I bought from a friend and their sugar cookie melts. Heavenly. But, as horrible as it sounds, I'd rather get them cheaper on ebay, I'm on a budget!)

*To answer your question, yes, they do in home parties, but you can also bring catalogs to work and I am fairly certain you get a webpage people can buy off of too. Plenty of people place orders over the phone.

** about ebay, maybe times have changed, lol! the top scents or favorite high demand scents seem to be in pretty high demand and do go for higher. But for less cute warmers, they can be pretty cheap. Just know your post made me go and plug mine in, ha! I think dealers can do their own specials and incentives too, so that's a plus for the rep.

I sell Scentsy and I love it. I just started but I think it is a great product and easy to sell. You can have parties wherever you want. They make mini testers of scents that you can bring into work for people to smell or send with friends and they can collect orders on their own. I like to do home parties because it is a nice night out for most Women and it is like the Candle store came to you. This month I am doing a "Party" before and after a friend's Zumba meeting. She is the instructor and she preferred that to having a party at her home. It is super flexible and really is a great product. Btw, the bars are 5 a piece from Scentsy also.

Two of my sisters sell it! I love it! I keep mine on ALL the time! If you want to sign up PM me and I'll give you my sisters info and she can get you signed up! (If you want!) They also have a great vacation deal every year! If you earn enough points (by selling and/or recruiting) you get an all expenses paid vacation! This year it was Disney world!

Please, Please, PLEASE, check with your co-workers and make sure that no one there is allergic to perfume. It's terribly miserable to be around it if they are.

That aside, I used to sell scented candles before I became extremely ill around them. I bought a kit and just showed it to everyone that wanted to smell the samples, and only IF they could. I was very surprised to see how many people got migraines because of scents. Unfortunately, now I am one of them and my 11 year old is one of them. I have a few friends that are that way too and one of my daycare moms is. It's getting so bad now that some schools and hospitals are having to put anti-scent policies in place, even for fabric softener and deodorant.

This stuff is FUN to sell. Just ask people everywhere you go before taking out the samples and opening the lids :)

I sell scentsy and I really like it also. You get started by ordering a starter kit. I think its around $100 but they send you everything you need to set up shop. I have done it for about two months now and it has been super easy to sell. If you have questions feel free to pm me :).
