We go to The Miner's Den, they are fantastic, and have been around for YEARS!! They are located at 13 mile and Rochester Road and family owned. Family is a Shrine family (if you know those schools, great schools too).

We have purchased many pieces of jewerly there, I have had stones replaced and stuff like that. My brother also bought his engagement ring there. They really are great!! Joyce is wonderful!

Hi J.---Sorry I can't help you with the jeweler, but I would recommend Don Bishop for your roofing. I do have to admit I've not had to use him yet, but I know his wife, she trains a group of us in my neighborhood, and I know that they are good people.

Give him a call and ask him for his recommendations. You should get your three estimates, anyway, so he could be one of them.

jeweler-Skyline Jewelers. See Sheri. She has been our family jeweler for years. The are in Troy in the old Standard Federal building.

We have been going to Waterford Jewlers, on Dixie Hwy. in Waterford for over 25 years. (about a half an hour from Troy) It is family owned and run, they are very trustworthy.

I've found Hoefener & Sons Jewelry at 2669 Rochester Rd., in the Hampton Village Centre (N of Auburn (21 Mi), E side of Rochester Rd) to be very reliable and good.

I tried finding the great roofing guy we got but sorry, no luck.

I've found them to be very reliable and trustworthy. I can also recall a few times when they caught or corrected problems from another jeweler, including noticing that my brand new engagement ring had a loose stone.
