When my husband and I meet I was living in Cancun, he would go visit me once at month when possible and the rest we would talk on the phone or by e-mails (no sky back then).
Conversations would sometimes got kind of kinky, not on purpose but sometimes it just happened.
Fast forward a few years to now (and kids) he travels for work, so most of the times I would see him only on weekends.
I can't remember last time we talk kinky on the phone, besides the times we just joke "what are you wearing tonight? groarrr!
Which we just end up joking back and ford, nothing sexy but just stupid funny, lol.
I was answering a post about what to give my husband for Valentines day (which there is not rule sometimes we do sometimes we don't) but just then I got the idea to do a kinky call to remember the old days.
Yet, it feels so weird now, lol.
It wasn't like when we were dating we would "plan" to have a naughty call, it just happened so planing one feels weird, but I would like to bring some old spice back, maybe at the end we would just end up the conversation with "did you remember when we did...when we just meet" kind of thing, but maybe not.

My hubby loves it. We've been married 23 yrs.
He is not on the road as much as he used to be but we still do it.

We haven't since we moved in together. When we first met, I lived 2 hours away, and we did a few times. Neither of us travels much without the other, and when we do, it's usually me and I'm sleeping in a hotel room with a little one, so I wouldn't be able to. Ha! But my husband would love it if we were apart and I was ok with it.
Military husband, so yeah.... we do what we can to keep things going. "You don't use it you loose it" kind-of-thing.
If your husband is away this Valentine's Day, then a "Phone Connection" seems like a wonderful idea. If not, perhaps you want to try something else to enliven things? Lingerie is a classic. Adult movies is another avenue you could explore. Scented candles, warming massage oils and chocolate body paints could make the world's best Gift Basket. You could make him a naughty scavenger hunt. Be creative. That is the best tip I can give for keeping things sizzling.
LOL! Love this question! ;) Well, my husband and I have a few times. Last year he was traveling a TON for his work and I felt like we were never together so I initiated it and personally, I agree that it's kinda fun...ooh lala! ;) He felt slightly more uncomfortable so it wasn't something that we did often but a few times. I think it's a great Valentine's gift though, something different for sure!

I can not do phone sex because I crack myself up and then it's just not sexy. BUT...I have taken to sending my husband dirty pictures! I didn't know I had it in me! But, he seems to appreciate that. lol

It is worth a try. Start out with a light attitude if it goes somewhere great, if not no big deal.
We don't do phone sex but I go to Victoria's secret every now and then and send him pictures of me wearing what I bought. I also send naughty texts.
He travels for work too.
My best guess is that if you initiate and put yourself on the line he will probably reciprocate because he used to do that particular thing with you all the time so you know he's game.
