S.K.
I think it is hard to say a name that ends in "n" next to one that starts with "n", I would go with Janelle.
I am between Quinn Janelle, or Quinn Nevaeh. Nevaeh is "heaven" spelled backwards. Can you pick one?
More info: Our last name is Cole. I know, Quinn Cole sounds weird. But I really like the name Quinn. The name Quinn means queen. I wouldn't pick elizabeth because, you know what I mean. I won't pick Victoria because her initials would be QVC, and that is what the shopping channel is. Lol.
I think it is hard to say a name that ends in "n" next to one that starts with "n", I would go with Janelle.
Quinn Janelle sounds better that Quinn Nevaeh. It's because of the way it flows. That last letter n is the first letter in the middle name. So, it sounds like one word to me. They are both pretty names though. Good luck!
Janelle. Nevaeh has been done to death. Janelle is refreshing.
I like Quinn Janelle. It rolls of the tongue nicely! :) very pretty.
Quinn Janelle. I think Nevaeh is way too trendy, and Janelle is a pretty name.
No offense, but I am sooooo tired of Nevaeh. It's nauseatingly popular. Much prefer Janelle.
I only know a few boys named Quinn, but with the popularity of "Glee", I'm sure there will be hundreds of little girls named Quinn in the next five years. Definitely go with Janelle, if you have to choose between those two. As others said, Nevaeh is way overused. (Plus it always reminds me of that hand lotion, Nivea!)
How many syllables does your last name have? Because that will make a difference in how it flows, also.
ADDED: Okay, since your last name is one syllable, I think three syllables flow better than two in the middle. I know this isn't on your short list, but what about Emerson? Quinn Emerson Cole? Emerson is becoming more popular as a girls name now. (And I'm partial to it, because it's the middle name of one of mine!)
Or some others to consider: Damaris, Justina, Emmeline, Genevieve, Lavinia, Ellery, Sabrina, or Serena. Just trying to be helpful! : )
Of the two - another vote for Janelle! I also liked the suggestions of Nicole and Michele. Two other thoughts are Alison and Colleen. Love Quinn - cute without being TOO cutesy for a grown up! Congratulations!!!
That's tough without knowing the last name but off the top I'd have to say Quinn Janelle.
Janelle is lovely. I love Quinn too, beautiful choices. Nevaeh makes me cringe b/c it is so overused among all the pregnant teens here, everyone always follows up with 'it's heaven spelled backwards." Sooo not trying to be rude, just that's how I as well as many others I know think of the name :)
I'm voting for Janelle too. I have heard the name Nevaeh but don't actually know any. However, I like to know how to pronounce a name as soon as I see it, and Nevaeh is one that I'm not sure exactly how to say it.
I also agree with the poster who said ending the first and starting the middle name with the same letter doesn't roll of the tongue that well.
congrats on your baby girl!
Janelle :-) Hands down !!! And I ADORE the name Quinn !! I had a Wonderful, smart, beautiful, caring, Funny friend w/ that name!
Love Quinn Janelle !
Congratulations!
Another Janelle vote. Although I have never heard of Nevaeh. I still like Janelle better.
Out of the two listed, Janelle.
I think Quinn Victoria sounds pretty though.
Yep, like another mama said, Neveah is too trendy for my liking so I vote for Janelle, but it isn't terribly easy to choose a name without knowing the last name (NOT that you should divulge it here, cuz, well, you shouldn't, I'm just saying).
janelle is smoother. if that makes any sense.
Both are pretty, but I think the double nn n sound makes Quinn and Nevaeh run together a litle bit. Therefore, my vote is for Quinn Janelle. I love Quinn by the way! Congrats!
I am not fond of either ... but if I had to choose Janelle ... I do not think it flows well with Quinn ... what about Quinn Nicole or Quinn Michelle ... I think those roll of the tongue better. However Janelle is a very nice name I think Mari (Marr-i) Janelle would be pretty though. Hope you enjoy the new little bundle of crazy love.
Janelle. I am of course bias, as that is the name of one of my good friends :)
Janelle. Nevaeh has become so overused!
Since Quinn ends in "n" and Nevaeh starts with "n", I pick Janelle, for pronunciation's sake.....this is a rule that I always go by.....otherwise the names run together too much for me.....
