How about Mia. In spanish and Italian it means my or mine. So it would be Amelia Mia or My Amelia.

Thank you all for your name suggestions! We have finally decided! See below...
We decided on Eve Amelia. We'll call her Evie. Thank you all so much for your help! I'm so happy that I can relax now. There were so many lovely names to choose from and even though some were prettier than the one we chose, they just didn't feel "right". The name we choose is right. It fits her. I just know it. :)

Eve, Liv, Neve, Brie, Brynn
Our kids middle names connect them to other family members.... which I think is harder to argue about, because you are "honoring" someone in yours/his family. But here's some ideas.......
Rae
Rose
Skye
Anne
Faye
Kay is a popular middle name in my family. My daughter, sister and 2 aunts. Chloe Kay, Lori Kay, Carla Kay,& Linda Kay. I like it. Also Rhea (sounds Ray or Ri), and Leigh.
Brynn, May, Elle, Lynn, Grace, Ann, Kate, Faith, Hope...I have two boys and have a lot of girl names on the back burner! :) Good luck with your decision!

I love Amelia (Faith) or Amelia (Joy) or Amelia (Grace)or Amelia (Hope). These are all middle names with eternal significance. In regard to your husband's comment on it sounding like an 'old lady'...that is what I do like about those names...not the -negative- of growing old, but the WISDOM and GRACE of years gone by. I consider those CLASSIC names not dowdy and old for old's sake. However, with all that said, I know what it is like to be trying to gain agreement on a baby's name with your husband. I couldn't get my husband to make a decision until LITERALLY our precious daughter was "pushed out" of me. And, as he relished in the immediate miracle of our daughter's birth, I said we need a name now. We had many to pick from but decided on two middle names to make him happy. Our daughter's name is Sarah Emily Grace. I just wanted Sarah Grace. But, we compromised with adding in Emily. We both love her name now and it is best to come together to make it happen. Hope this helps. Looks like you've rec'd lots of advice. Many Blessings - L.
