I am trying to locate a church/place/community, and that teaches spirtual growth that I and my 2 year old can get involved with, that centers more around spirituality in general, that is enjoyable and open-minded. Is there any place in this area that covers religion, spiritualty, in a more broad spectrum?

Two possibilities for you that I'm aware of are: Unity Church (on Vine) and Foothills Unitarian/Universalist. Foothills UU is more of a spiritual community--they accept people of various faith traditions. Unity, I believe, also has a strong emphasis on spirituality with beliefs similar to what you expressed.
