I do not know why but i was accused of being a troll. To julie s- i am not a troll, many people go after trolls, and i was a member 2 years ago.
Edit 2 years ago it was normal to complain and
go after trolls.

me thinks you doth protest too much.
I am not a 6' tall swedish super model either...dammit!!
Here's something I learned a lot time ago. If a person seems truly hurt, outraged by something, they are probably telling the truth (whether hurt/outrage is a reasonable response is another matter). HOWEVER, the more frustrated and insistent that person becomes, the less likely they are to be believed.
What this means is the more calmly you can respond to things, the more you can roll with or ignore outrageous accusations, the more you can take the attitude of "okay, you're gonna believe what you want", the more likely people will believe you. It's odd but it's true.
Honestly, I have no idea who or what you are, because....this is the internet. But if you are a real person feeling frustrated, please take my advice to heart.
Good luck,
e
Why are you obsessing over this? For heaven's sake.
M., this board is not at all of the intent it used to be. I have been on here for many, many years and I have watched it become a bash fest with a few helpful posts here and there. It used to be full of respectful women that had nothing but intent to be helpful. We followed each other and PM'ed at times as well just had some fun. Sadly, it has evolved like other groups do that have more and more members join. The ambiance of the site is just not the same. I visit less and less and occasionally come across posts that are helpful and respectful. Just know, this really isn't place to find 'help' anymore as it used to be.
No idea why you were accused of being a troll. I didn't get that at all - your initial posts were perfectly normal. Ignore Julie S - she must be hypersensitive to all the troll postings, which you have noted in a previous post.
You're right that it was more common to report trolls in many cases, but we've so many of the "bots" posting about making $100 an hour not to mention the regular stupid trolls that hit during school vacations, I think some people are more anxious to call "troll" rather than be "caught" taking someone seriously and taking time to give a thoughtful response to someone who isn't the slightest bit interested. It's a whole lot of automatic rudeness, kind of like road rage, I think.
I'd ignore these and concentrate on the sensible people who mean well. I still try to be kind even if I'm suspicious. I try to find something to tell the person how to word their requests better in order to get more of the helpful responses they want, and hope I don't come off as being a fool for not spotting a troll. I do make an exception when something is a re-post either under a different name from last week, or a copy-and-paste from last year.
Welcome back and I hope things go more smoothly for you!
how weird.
why would anyone feel the need to create a post about what they're not?
