Hi K.- I've potty trained kids for 16 year, and if there is one thing I know, there is not a magic solution or a "3 day program". It's a process that takes time and the body being ready.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

I purchased it and it worked great for us. It isn't that long and didn't take that long to read. You can probably find a lot of the tips on the internet, but I am a total type A so wanted to read the book and do everything she said. Overall it really worked for us. Good luck! The first few days can be tiring!

I got "Potty Training in 1 Day" from the library for free :) I just don't think potty training is hard enough to pay someone else to help me.

If this is the same thing I did...I didn't care for it. It is a grandmother/daycare provider who successfully trained several kids. The script is in report form and cost about $18 and $25 if you order the laminated charts. She talks about the old days when woman would strap their children to the potty chair because early potty training was a status thing. I just didn't have the time to read everything and soon found loose paper all over my house. Basically, kids just need a lot of consistency. The best time for me to get my daughter to go potty was first thing in the morning. Every morning that is where she went until soon she pee'd, we cheered, and then she graduated to a regular routine of sitting on the potty until she started volunteering.

There is a book, Toilet Training in Less Than A Day and I used it on my kids and it does work, if your child is ready. Now that isn't to say that my kids didn't occaisionally have accidents but they did have the basic concept down and my oldest had near perfect controll right off the bat. My son had "the family weak bladder" and had less ability to hold it for long periods (both husband and I are to blame for this and he probably inherited our bladders) My third child trained herself at about 2 3/4 yr (were were moving and not wanting to mess with training while in the middle of packing I played up being a big girl at the new house and she took it from there!)
The book stresses the child "training" a doll which "pees" to use the potty and you stay home and push fluids and offer rewards for the childs successs using the potty. It is quite intensive but it did work for us.
