My son is 6 years old and suddenly his shirts are all drooping off the baby hangers. My hangers are too big. When I look in the aisle's at CVS etc. it's big hangers and baby hangers. I know I cannot be the only one who has ran into this problem. Am I missing something?

What can I do next?

I was just going through the same problem. The only solution I was able to come up with was to buy those annoying metal hangers and shape them so they would fit my sons clothes. It works great!! I just have a personal preference to plastic. Oh well though...until I find some that fit "kids" clothes this is what I'm doing. Best wishes!

Have you checked at Akea in Schamburg . They have so many different things. Things that are odd. I buy my wooden hangers there and the hangers that I can hang up 5 pairs of Capri's on the same hanger. But never looked for junior hangers because my son in 17 years old now.
I do remember when he was younger, when I would buy an outfit I would always ask if i could have the hanger that the outfit was hung on. I remember having a whole box of those hanger that I recycled.

Good Luck,
S.

Hi,
I had the same problem, I hate wire hangers as well. The only solution I found that worked was keeping the plastic hangers from the store, also a bonus from that is the size is on the hanger so if you have alot of clothes in different sizes you can organize them by size.
good luck.

Here is what I do. You know those plastic hangers that the store gives you that have the part where they have the clips that hole the pants. Well I use those to clip the shirt to them and then they don't fall. And they don't cost me anything. LOL. I just ask the store if I can have the hangers when they start to take the clothes off the hangers. B.

I haven't encountered this problem yet as my kids are only 4 and 1, but I was just thinking about this and had an idea. Not sure if it would work, but perhaps you could get a package of thick rubber bands and put them around both "arms" of the baby sized hangers. Maybe this would provide enough grip to keep the shirts on until he grows into your hangers. Just an idea!
