Slim Hangers for 8 Year Old: Where to Buy, How Many Inches

Hi Moms,

I am looking for the slim hangers for my 8 year old.
I've looked online and haven't been able to find any.

I'm looking for the slim hangers and not the regular tube plastic.

His "baby hangers" are too small (12 inches).

The regular slim hangers are too big (17 inches)

I think he'd need hangars about 14 or 15 inches.

I'd prefer them to be slim hangers, but not the "non-slip kind".
But at this point I can't be choosy.

Thanks in advance for any help in my "slim hanger" dilemma.

What can I do next?

Never heard os slim hangers. I just always used regular hangars without a problem. Never even thought about hangar size. Just use regular hangars.

Ikea has children's hangers that seem to be that middle size your are looking for (14 inches). I just switched my boys over from the baby hangers and their shirts don't fall off anymore! :)

The Container Store may have what you are looking for-they have a lot of different types of hangers.

Good Luck!

I'm not 100% sure what you mean by slim hangars, but I just converted my son's closet (9) to black hangars from Target. They are a little fuzzy, non-slip. They are perfect for us. They fit his shirts better and they don't allow his clothes to fall off and land at the bottom of his closet (a big problem for us).

Good luck,
L.
