Do You Think I'm Pregnant? *Have You Experienced This?*

I got pregnant a month after being off the pill. Everyone's body is different. Some do not have a period after stopping the pill, some do. Only a test will tell. Good luck!

When I went off the pill, my periods were way out of whack. I had 60-72 day cycles. I think it is too early to freak out. :)

seriously, how can anyone on a message board know? of course it's possible. but you know your body better than any of us can, and you yourself don't know. you can do a urine test that will give you results in less time than it takes to post here.

Obviously you know people cant give you the 'Correct' answer! lol BUT you even said that - SO why people must comment about that is beyond me! :-) I stopped taking the pill the last weekend of August 2008. My last period was right when i stopped the pill ( guess tha'ts just how my body reacted, it wasnt due for a week) and on Sept 14th - I got Pregnant!!! We thought we had lots of Time for Play !!!! Nope ~ someone had other plans for us ! Our baby boy was Meant to Be !!!! Seems to me there may be a May/June 2011 bundle of joy in your future :-) Blessings !! hope when you Test - you keep us posted ! I'd like to see if Im correct! LOL

My opinion, is you'll have to take a test. Periods can be very strange and not like your normal cycle, after birth control. Since you just stopped birth control, the only way to know, is too test.

Calm down:) Take a test to check and see...

Dont let some of these remarks make you feel stupid some ppl like to be pushy and rude & feel smarter by belittling other ppl..... Let us know 13 days late is enough to make anyone freak out, every one is diff, all forms of BC can skrew with your cycle ... but dont rule out pregnancy either! good luck

Are your boobs sore? Mine got sore immediately with both of my pregnancies. I'd say your cycle is still somewhat crazy since you've only been off bc for a couple of months.... take the test and then I guess you'll know. If I was a psychic and tell ya right now tho... lol.

Just take the test so you can stop freaking you

Hard to say for sure until you tets. Now that you are not taking BC Pills you may not have a 28 day cycle. My cycles post-BC Pills are closer to 40 days. I think they were even more our of whack right after I stopped the pills.

I don't know why some people are so rude....and ugly. Sometimes you just want to talk to other women...hear about their experiences...

Good luck to you if you want to have a baby. :) I've never had that particular issue before, but if you are 13 days late..surely the test will let you know if you're pregnant or not. Let us know! I know that we (or at least I) love to hear about people's POSITIVES!

Take a preg test to check.

Hormones can get things all whacky. YOu may not be on a 28 day cycle anymore. My cycles last anywhere from 29 to 44 days in the past half a year that I've been tracking them and I am NOT on the pill. Been 2.5 years since I had my son and my cycle's still not regular like it was pre-pregnancy. So like I said - hormones are weird and act differently with everyone. I hope you get the test result you want!

My period was all out of whack when I stopped taking BC. I was late but not pregnant. If you are wanting to be pregnant, I wish you luck! Go take that test and let us know! :)

I got pregnant right away after going off the pill, both times. They were both planned pregnancies. But, I was surprised how quickly I became pregnant after going off of birth control. I didn't have the sore boobs, but I got morning sickness after a couple of weeks...big clue!

First time I went of BC, my cycle came back 28 days like clockwork. Second time it played spastic and went 21-21-29-28 but never really late. Everyone is different. Probably depends how your cycles were before you ever went on BC and how long you have been on it and how your body reacted to it. My one friend went off after years on BC and she didn't ovulate for MONTHS, some people get pregnant that next month. All depends. Best wishes for whatever happens!

BTW- sore boobs and other symptoms might not necessarily be there either- especially if you have ever been prego before. I only got sore boobs with my 1st!

I do know of some women that were not pregnant but their cycle went completely out of whack after coming off of BC. I also know of women that got pg while on BC. I also know of women that got pg immediately after coming off of BC.

I was one that got pg while ON my period. So even when I go off of my BC for my period... My husband and I use other methods of BC.

If you had an extremely regular cycle before ever starting BC, you're probably pg. But most of the women that I know that had just the 'whacked out cycle' after coming off of BC, didn't have regular cycles prior to taking BC.

It definitely depends. Getting off any form of birth control for me did some funny things with my period. With my first it took almost 4 months to get pregnant after getting off BC. But I remember one month my period being late and thinking I was. Then with my second daughter, I figured it would take the same amount of time to get pregnant but it happened the following month after I stopped taking BC.

I definitely don't think its too early to test.

I have never been on bc before, but I have completely skipped a month before. You could be off wack because you stopped taking the pill. Take a test and keep us posted!

When I stopped taking the pill my period was MIA for something like 4 months. I tested all the time! I talked to my doctor and after month 3 they did a blood and urine test. Everything came back negative. Sometimes it just takes awhile for your body to adjust. If you test and it's negative, believe it. There's no need to test a bazillion times like I did :)
