T.S.
This post is right on time as my 1 1/2 yr old baby (20 months) JUST lifted his own foot up to his nose and exclaimed, "PEEEEYUUUUW!!" I can't stop laughing!!
One of the questions I just answered here today got me to remembering some of the precious things my almost 13 year old son did when he was a toddler. The funniest thing he use to do was wear my gardening gloves for hours! He would have those gloves on and have a broom in his hand and "sweep" So funny and cute. He use to beg my mom and I to put on a pair too! The funniest thing he ever said was when he was about 4--he said to my mom "Grandma, I want you and Grandpa to have a baby and give it to my mom"!!! We laughed sooo hard that day and I'll never forget it. That was when he asked when he was going to have a brother or sister, but ended up being an only child. I llove my son sooo much and he is growing up way too fast.

My husband is balding. two year old announces that "mommy had hair, and daddy has a head!).
My 3 year old asks his sister (still growing in my belly) this morning, 'Baby, you okay in there?' and then says 'good' as though she answered him.. he puts his flashlight to my mouth, and says - 'I can't see the baby!'... so innocent, so sweet!
I was on the potty when my son opened the door and started talking to me. I told him, "Excuse me! Could you please close the door?" So he stepped into the bathroom with me, closed the door behind him and kept on talking.
The cutest think that sticks out to me, is when my oldest (now 7) was about 2-3 yrs old, I was on the back deck...it was a nice day and he asked if he could come out with me...I said sure C'mon but he hesitated and said he didn't have any shoes on...I said it was fine he could come out in his bare feet...he looked down at his feet, walked out VERY slowly all the while looking at his feet and when I asked him what the matter was he said (in a pitiful small voice) "But Mom, I don't want to have Bear feet"!
Ha! He thought his feet would turn hairy and turn into Bear feet!! It was hilarious but sad at the same time...sometimes we forget when they are small that they are trying their hardest to process all the new information...and he didn't understand that 'bare' meant without shoes/socks!!!
Just today in fact, my 3 year old and I were passing by our church. They were setting up a big tent for Easter. He asked me what it was, and I told him that on Sunday, we would be having our Easter 'service' in there. He got all excited, and said "We get to go to an Easter circus?!!"
Just the other day, I put my dog in his crate because he wouldn't stop barking at the TV. I told my 2 year old that he was in Timeout. Next thing I know, I hear her in the room talking to the dog. She said "Max, no bark at TV, and say Sorry." He must of apologized because she let him out.
While reading this, the first thing that came into my mind about my 21 months old daughter is, about a month ago we were watching a match. and she was eating a cookie. Then on one shot we started clapping and cheering up. She got excited too. but hands were full so she put the whole piece into her mouth and started clapping. we all laughed a lot on this cute thing and our happiness got doubled !!!
My 2 y/o son has been trying to stick his tounge in my mouth or try to lick my face when he kisses me. He knows it grosses me out and he will hold my face and come at me with his tounge. I think he gets sick of me kissing him so much so he really tries to let me have it sometimes. Its a pretty funny sight, awww attack of the tounge!
A sweet thing my 2 and a half year old said a few months back. I yawned in the car and I hear her ask, "you getting tired mommy?"
