Look up the Samaritan Couseling Center in Dallas. They should be able to help, and I think they operate on a sliding scale, according to one's ability to pay.
Looking for a Christian counselor to help my nine year old with depression over losses. Thank you for your help!

Our church recommends Steve BArnes in Denton, but you can also find a good Christian counselor at metroplex counseling outside the denton area.
If you are meaning a child psychologist, ask your pediatrician for referrals. There are lots of good ones out there but your doctor may be able to help you find one that works with the specific loss you are dealing with (divorce, death of family member, etc.) HTH!
Peter Kahle in Grapevine is great. His website is www.crosswayscounseling.com. ###-###-####, best wishes and God bless!
Wow, shouldn't you be starting with your pastor/church?
And what kind of "losses" is a therapist in order?
Please seek professional and/or trained spiritual help!
Lake Arlington Baptist Church has a counseling center. Contact them at ###-###-####. They have several counselors that would be able to assist your child. They have a couple that are certified in play therapy as well.
Take Care and God Bless!

I highly recommend Skye Bryant at SoulCare Counseling! 405 Harwood Rd. Bedford. She's wonderful! Your daughter will love her!
I recommend someone from the Meir Clinic, based out of Dallas, TX. I believe they are nationwide, if not, at least statewide. I'm so sorry your daughter is going through a hard time. 9 is so young to be going through depression.
