Baby Bloopers

Hello Mammas! I have an unusual request, but I thought this might be fun, and everyone deserves a good laugh! I love the section in Parents magazine about baby bloopers, it features funny things kids say and do. I cannot get enough of it, so I was hoping you could share your more memorable moments with us.
I will share a few of mine about my oldest daughter...
When she was 3 my husband did alot of work on our house in his spare time, he was always fixing things. One night we were sitting around the table eating dinner and the light bulb blew out. She looks up at the light and says, " Daddy fix it, BANG! BANG! BANG!"
Also, when she was 3 she would sometimes be VERY persistent about things, and sometimes I would tell her no, and spell it out N-O! Well that really backfired on me because, my mother took her out one day and my daughter was really frustrated because she was trying to tell my mom something, and my mother did not understand what she was saying. She looked sternly at my mother and said, " Gram, look at me, look at me, G-P-K-Z-Y." Needless to say, my mother still did not understand what she was saying LOL.
And last but not least... When she was 5, we were returning from a family vacation to Disney World. We drove there and back from Texas. It was pouring down rain, and everyone was tense because you could hardly see anything, and we did not want to pull over in unfamilar territory. My daughter looks up to the heavens and says, " God, could you turn it down a little." That one still gets to me, even today. Whenever things are stressful and crazy with my life I think God could you turn it down a little, you don't have to turn it off, just turn it down.
I hope you enjoyed those little pieces of my life. I cannot wait to hear some of the cute things your kids are saying and doing! Thanks!

I thought you would've had more takers on this post! I don't have any funnies yet from my son, but hear are two from my cousin who is THREE years old:

His Grandma said, "Okay, Evan, it's time to take a nap." To which Evan replied, "No. That's not on my agenda today!" (remember--he's 3)

Another day, Evan was acting extra out of control and when Grandma asked what his problem was, he replied, "I think it's my listening skills."

Ha!!!

When my daughter was 3, she was being a real crank-monster so we were picking on her, mocking her. She was getting really frustrated and went under the coffee table. We continued to poke fun until she jumped out from under the table, threw her arms up in the air and said, "SILENCE! I'm GRUMPY!"
Ha!

Then, about a month ago, she asked me if there was any such thing as a 1/2 black, and 1/2 white person. I said yes and she asked if I knew "any people like that". I said yes and mentioned one of her friends that is mixed. She then said, "Oh, well, she wears pants, so I've never seen the white part of her." :)
Kids are so funny!

I can't pass up the chance to tell a cute story about my kids!! My son had been learning about Moses in church so one day we were at home & his hand was itching pretty bad. He comes to me and is scratching like crazy so I ask him what is wrong and he says, "God put a burning bush on me!" I laughed so hard over that one. Can't wait to hear everyone else's stories!!

When my niece was little (about 5 I think), I took her to the Aquarium. We went to their resturant for lunch and on the kids menu is fish sticks. She looked at me and asked if it was the slow ones or the sick ones. She said she didn't mind eating the slow ones, she just didn't want her fish sticks to be the sick ones.......where do kids come up with this stuff???

My SIL has 4 kids and with each one, she kept a notebook of funny things they would say or do. She also encouraged other family members and friends to write in the books too if we heard or saw something funny. It's fun to go back and read all the funny things my soon-to-be 14 year old niece would say as a child.

One of my favorites was my then 3 year old nephew (Luke) wanted to play hide & seek. He said "You will count to 10 and I will hide behind the door." After my husband counted to 10, he said "Where's Luke?" Luke yelled from behind the door "I'm right here!" :)
