Has anyone tried any Acai Berry diet pills that do work? I was thinking of ordering one of the free trials, I need something to jumpsart my diet, I do workout a bit but if I don't see any results I get discouraged and end up stopping it all together. Any comments or suggestions about the products would be helpful. Thanks!

If the 'magic bullet' approach worked, we wouldn't be a nation of obese people! It's another gimmick designed to prey on people's hope and desperation for weight loss. Don't waste your money.

Instead, continue your working out AND make sure you are following a sensible nutritional plan (one that you can adopt for the rest of your life). Take the money you might spend on a gimmicky product and go see a nutritionist instead.

Maintaining a healthy weight isn't about exercising and dieting for a short period of time until you achieve your goal; it is something you will do for the rest of your life. Good luck to you and hopefully you'll reach your goals!

The acai berry has just as much protein as an egg and is very high in fiber...but as it has many health benefits...you cannot get what you are looking for in a pill...sorry, once you stop, you'll gain the weight right back..this is why diets don't work and Kristy Alley is proof of it. Instead of the pill, why not just eat the egg for breakfast, studies show people that eat eggs for breakfast lose more weight than those who just eat cereal...which is all carbs (yes dairy is a carb, not a protein). Why not aim for 25-35g of fiber per day by eating at least two pieces of fruit and 5 servings of veggies? you can go to www.fiber35diet.com for good ideas on how to add more fiber into your diet w/o adding pills...if you do increase your fiber, you have to increase your water intake, or else it all bulks up inside causing constipation...so you have to drink half of your body weight in ounces of water per day...even while taking the pills...save the money, (I saw $140/month) and buy healthy foods.

Hey Tami- I have tried one of those free trial ones, acai berry edge it was partnered with total cleanse, and I thought it did work! I ended up with 2 bottes but it is kind of pricy- i think it charged my card almost 140 for the month, so i was going to try gnc or something to find something thatyo dont have to sign up for auto-replenish for. let me know if you have any other questions, its not a miricle pill but i lost about 20,and you get extra energy!

Please read the fine print!!!!!!
This is not the kind of free trial you want!!
They start sending you and charging you the moment you
press send. Not free!!!
If you are inclined buy some at the store.

I agree with those who said there is no magic answer for weight loss.
I'm using a weight loss program that helps me track my calories and how much protein, carbs, and fats I'm eating. I've learned a lot about what's really in the foods I'm eating and it makes a big difference.
This program also comes with meal shakes and bars, but unlike most programs of its kind, it's designed to help you gain muscle while you lose fat.
With most diets, when you cut calories, the body thinks it's starving and starts storing fat and burning energy from muscle. So you actually change your body composition in a negative way. That's why you gain all the weight right back the minute you stop the program.
This program uses an amino acid called leucine to help build your muscle and maintiain your metabolism. I've been on and off the program a few times and have never gained back the weight I lost. My weight holds steady for months after returning to my regular diet.
