When Do You Remove Newborn Infant Pads on Car Seat?

Hello everyone! I have a 5 month old son weighs 14lbs 26 in long. When I see him in his infant car seat I feel like he is getting way to big and see him getting uncomfortable. I feel like I should remove padding? Are you suppose to remove padding as your child grows?If so how do you know when to do so? I looked on instructor manual and its answer is vary vague. I have Peg Perego Viggio Infant Car seat. Please help!

I have a son who was two in January and have another baby a girl due in March. I am looking for a double side by side stroller. My Little One HATES the Car Seat!

I need advice on helping my 11-week old daughter cope with the car seat. From the moment we put her in it she has a screaming fit! Often lasting upwards of an hour with brief interludes of exhaustive sleep and it usually includes her spitting up on herself a time or 2. If my husband is driving, I can keep her somewhat calm with a pacifer (she's not able to hold on to it independently for more than a minute or 2) or a bottle (which I fear may upset her stomach even more). If I'm alone, I basically either stay home or have to let her cry it...
