9-Year-old Asking About Sex

My daughter has asked me what the word sex means and what sex is. She is 9. I explained to her that some questions are very difficult to answer and that I would like some time to think about it so I answer it the best way I can. Wow, where do I start with this question. First a little background. I have a 7 year old girl who was diagnosed with ADHD in December. She is now on meds that has helped a lot but I think still needs some tweaking. Hi everyone. I was just wondering: my son is 16 months old and he doesn't talk. He is extremely smart...I'm not just saying that as his mother. But he doesn't talk at all. My 7 year old daughter doesn't like to do her reading homework and my 5 year old is starting to pick up on it.
