Digital Camera for a 3 Year Old

I would like to get my son a digital camera for his 3rd birthday. I have done some research and found the following options: V-Tech, Fisher Price, Leap Frog and Crayola. I have only been about to find reviews on the V-Tech model. The Leap Frog one was just introduced this year (2009). Does anyone have advice of what they like or don't like about any of these? Has anyone had experience with more than one of these to provide a comparison? Thanks!

Controlling the Toy & Book Situation

I am in the midst of a deep spring cleaning and organizing spree. It's one of those "getting back to basics" type things where I'm tempted to get rid of everything but one towel, one set of dishes, and only as many clothes as will fit in a suitcase per person type thing. My son has accumulated a lot of fairly expensive toys (leapfrog and v-tech type toys) and I hate them. I've always preferred the basic toys like blocks and legos and cars and trains and dolls (that don't talk) and play food and musical instruments, things of that nature...
