There is also a book out "Learning to Crochet", I think is the name of it. Probably at Hobby Lobby or anywhere else with crochet supplies. I taught myself using this book. It has great pictures for both left hand and right hand!
Is anyone out there willing to teach me how to crochet. I feel like I am all thumbs, so this might be a challege...:).

Hi L.!
There are meetup groups in your area for crocheting (and knitting) and think one. Just google knitting meetups for your area and you can join. They can be really fun and interesting. You can also make alot of new friends! Good Luck! I love to crochet and knit by the way!

Where are you located? I have been crocheting only for a few months now, but took to it so well that I am now able to do complicated pattern pieces from a book.
My friend taught me the basic stitches and I was able to take off from there with questions to her here and there. I am a visual learner (as in must see it done), so looking at the step by step pictures did not help me learn. I am willing to help you learn. I am in North Richland Hills, and it would probably be easier for me if you came over here. Let me know.
Try Joann's and Simpatico in Euless. They give group lessons.
