Ear Infection in 12 Month Old

Hi my daughter is 12 months old and has an ear infection. She began her antibiotic 2 days ago but I have seen no improvement in her. She is still very fussy and is still running a fever. In fact she is now starting to pull at her other ear. She also has a really bad cold. When should she be starting to feel better and is it normal for her to continue to have fever? I am worried about her as this is her 4th ear infection in the past 5 months. Thank you so much.

I have a 5 yr old daughter who gets a wicked cough a few times a year. This past trip to the ped he suggested we start her on 4 mg of Singulair. My husband is asthmatic and the ped feels that there is a possibility that she may be diagnosed later in life with asthma. 4 Year Old Son with Allergies/asthma

My 4 year old son was recently diagosed with allergies associated with asthma. He gets a persistant cough this time of year and in the fall. The cough sometimes causes him to vomit. He has had allergies since he was a baby, however, the asthma part of this is new to me. I feel uneasy about it because he seems to be on lots of medication now. My 10 month old son is on his fourth round of antibiotics for a persistent antibiotic resistant ear infection. This has been going on for 6 weeks and he is in a lot of pain and totally miserable. My 8 year old son has had a persistent cough for about 7 weeks or so. I took him to the doctor 8/19, and they took an x-ray of his lungs. The doctor diagnosed him with mycoplasma pneumonia, and gave him an antibiotic that he took for the prescribed 5 days. The cough has not gone away so we went back to the doctor today. New Singulair Side Effects

Has anyone noticed subtle changes in their child while taking Singulair? My 11 year old has allergies and asthma and has been on Singulair (and other meds) for a long time on and off.
