Car Seat for Air Travel for 3.5 Yo

We're flying with our 1 yo old and 3.5 yo. The 1 yo will be on my lap. We will check his car seat. Question is: do I use a car seat for the 3.5 yo. He's pretty tall, about 42" and about 40 lbs. His car seat seems huge (Graco Nautilus) and I can't imagine him having any room. We will probably check his car seat anyway for driving around but I can't imagine using it on the plane. A friend said that she uses a booster for her 4 yo (who is smaller than my 3.5 yo) but I don't think that is approved by the FAA. I guess it's up to the...

Ok, I'm really confused about sippy cups. I went to Babies R Us and was pretty much overwhelmed with the sippy cup choices. My 15 month is now with a straw sippy cup for juices. What is the next level?? And how did you deal with the transition/ mess of using a regular cup? Thanks.

Hey! Does anyone have toys they want to get rid of? I will buy for a cheap price. I don't really mean little things, I am mostly looking for different kinds of saucers, play gyms, bouncy seats, ect. My daughter's asking for any/all ideas for diaper-changing an infant in a public restroom if there is no area provided and no flat surface other than the floor. She and her husband just returned from their first weekend out-of-town with their 8-month-old daughter. Slow Meeting Gross Motor Milestones

Hello. I am new to this site and have a question about my nine month old son. He just turned nine months but has of yet to crawl, move from sitting to other positions, or pull to standing. His pediatrician is not worried and has observed him to be developing fine. He can sit and play unassisted for a great length of time and is able to creep around using his hands and pushing with extended legs. How concerned should I be that he is not doing more?
