THanZyrtec vs.Claritin For Kids
Hi Moms, My 9 year-old son was diagnosed by his pediatrician with seasonal allergies and asthma last Spring. He took Zyrtec in the Spring and Fall along with Flonase nasal spray . He also uses an albuterol inhaler on an as needed basis. I also tried switching to Claritin because the Zyrtec was making him sleepy. My question is, is there an alternative to Zyrtec/Claritin with minimal side effects? I did not notice a huge difference when he was taking either one of these, and he was having behavioral issues in school this past fall...
