Unknown Stain on Laundry and Clothes Dryer

Hey everyone! I started to do a load of laundry this weekend and in the process of the washer filling, something happened with our water so I had to shut it off. We are still not sure if it was frozen pipes or what, but we had very little water until yesterday. To make a long story short, after the plumbers got our water flowing again, there was black gunk in it that looked like potting soil. Help with Permanent Marker

Hi I have a question for a friend of mine. Her 5 yr old son took permanent marker and wrote not only the walls (which she got the marks off) but decided to write on his 2 yr old sisters face. Any ideas on how to get it off her face would be greatly appreciated.
