if you are unable to find a job you can do from home i would call an agency that specializes in home child care. They will do background checks and a very in depth interview. I was placed in a home as a nanny by an agency like this and it worked out for both of us! You could also consider keeping children out of your home and that would allow you to stay home with your own! I have done that off and on since my kiddos came along and it has been a great way to supplement our income.
