I am a stay at home mom to a 3 month old. I do not know many people here like me and looking to meet some other mommies. I need to get out the house and be around other adults as talking to my baby girl all day is not cutting it. I love being a mom, but I am bored. I am a School Librarian on Maternity Leave til August and used to interacting with people all day.......I live in The Woodlands.

You are in luck! There are two mother's groups in The Woodlands to chose from - Mother's of The Woodlands has been around for a few years, is very large, well-organized and has many playgroups and other activies for $15 yr, or there is a new group called Moxie Moms - started out of Katy and is now in TW, also.

Hi M.. Congratulations on your precious baby. I am a nanny, currently unemployed, and hoping to find a job for someone who works in the school district so that I can have off when my kids are off next year. Also, I am a member of one of the mom's groups here called Mothers of The Woodlands. Please check out www.mothersofthewoodlands.com and see what you think. Dues are only $10 per year. There are at least three "Mommy" groups in the Woodlands that I know of...
(1) MOMS Club of The Woodlands. The president is Sonia Woodfall - her email address is ____@____.com is a great group of women. They have monthly meetings that you can attend. They have activities throughout the week and even Moms Night Out once a month. I've been a member for about 3 years.
(2) Mothers of the Woodlands - check out the website www.mothersofthewoodlands.com
(3) MOPS - Mothers of Preschoolers - I don't belong to this group, but attended one of their meetings and it was alot of fun - it meets at a local church once a week or every other week and they provide childcare. The Women do crafts and socialize and probably lots of other stuff.
