I have 3 children. 7 year old twins and 4 year old. I always thought I would have just 2.
three children is more than 2. You can't carpool as easily because no one can fit all 3 in their vehicle. It's more chaos. The third takes time away from the first 2, and on and on and on.
But, I truly believe that the greatest gift we can give our kids is as many siblings as we can. They live with us 18 years (or so) then they are on their own in the real world. With two siblings they can take care of each other, have someone to share their childhood memories with and someone who can make fun of their parents with :)
So, even if it's harder now and they may fight and it costs more, and maybe the don't get to take gymnastics AND dance at the same time, it will enrich their lives in ways they can't even imagine!
And, three is a lot and we all talk at the same time, but it is so much fun!!! I ADORE my third and even sometime wonder if a 4th would be even better :)
