Here's a few of my favorite, I hate going to Toys R Us.
Learning Express - Snider Plaza (across from SMU)
Toys Unique - Inwood Village (Lovers/Inwood)
Toy Maven - Preston/Royal (NE Corner)
Does anyone have any suggestions where to buy toys for Christmas other than Toys R Us, Wal-Mart or Target. My daughter has asked for some specific things that I can't find at these places and they all just have the same things. She found a few toys in a catalog but I am trying to keep from ordering over the internet. I know there used to be some kind of toy outlet on Central Expwy. but can't remember the name. Any help in this area will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, moms!

I know you mentioned you don/t want to buy on the internet. If it is for shipping reasons, look at Amazon.com. They every toy under the sun, often for less money and many have free super savings shipping.
The outlet on central is Matel Toy Outlet. It is near beltline and 75. They have a good selection.
You might try Froggies (Knox & Cole), Toys Unique (Lovers Lane & Tollway), Learning Express (Snider Plaza and other locations), or Puzzle Zoo (North Park Mall). All these are in the central Dallas area - as that's where I live - but they may have sister stores out in the burbs as well (not sure). These guys often have the more unique toys and/or the higher quality toys. Good Luck.
There is a KB toys outlet in Terrell, just 20 miutes east of Mesquite.
I have always used craigslist for my childrens toys. Great deals and as you probably know most of the toys dont get played with anyways. I would love to know about this outlet store off of central if you find out.
My husband said there is a Mattel shop off of 75 between Arapho and Beltline. He passes it on his way to work and he works out in Plano.
