Learning Express in Snider plaza has a pre made fabric that can be made into different forts depending on what you attach it to.
My two girls ages 7 & 2 have a million toys and all they seem to play with the most are sheets from the bed to build tents, houses, etc. Does anyone know of a building set that they can use to create these masterpieces and save my sheets?

I do not know of any pre-made fabric sets...BUT...that does sound like simple and fun and magical type present! You could go to the fabric store and pick out all sorts of pretty fabric for them ( do some minor embellishing, fringe maybe, bet u don't even have to sew anything ) and make them their own special "fort/clubhouse/castle" making kit!
That sounds too cute! I might have to steal this idea...I have me some "fort-building-loving kids" too!
I just got a magazine (Lillian's Kids or something of that nature) that had exactly what you are talking about. I'm sorry I don't remember the name of the magazine but you could measure the table or whatever you used to "build a fort" and send them the measurements and they would send you the fancy "sheet" to fit exactly that size. I thought it was an awesome idea and if I remember correctly there were some very cute options. You could probably do it yourself if you had a sewing machine. Try Lillian Vernon on online or googling personalized sheet tents or something like that. I know its out there somewhere! Good Luck!
we bought a bed tent at Target... ours is by Woolrich kids "bed tent"

and my kids love it, you might find on on ebay or if you follow the link below they have some others options

also you might just try a small two man tent, the pop up kind, it might work for you...
We used to have something (it came from Toys R us) that was a series of stiff foam covered "bars", and nylon fabric that attached with clips. It was to make forts, and you could get one set or two depending on how big of a fort you wanted. That saved the beds and helped for a while. But we have boys, and they eventually started tearing it apart and hitting each other with the foam bars!
I forgot what it was called.
If you're crafty, you can build a felt cover for a card table and then give them loads of felt pieces to decorate/etc their fort/house/cabin/spaceship/etc
You can buy them online, but they're pretty expensice (here's one on etsy, there are others http://www.etsy.com/shop/missprettypretty) and they'd be easy to make. You can also just go to goodwill and get some sheets that are used for play so the bedsheets stay nice.
Here's a template for a dining table version http://homemadebyjill.blogspot.com/search/label/felt%20pl....
The Play Hut type houses and tunnels are a hit with my guys who sound the same as yours. They have tunnels and huts anf fold easily and slide behinde the playroom couch - also easy for them to pop up on thier own. amazon and walmart carry them as well as others I"m sure. Good luck
There are so many great toys out there this year its hard to know what to choose. Check out my article on great toys to buy this year for Christmas.

You could go to the hardware/plumbing store and get PVC pipes and fitting and they can use those to build the structure of the fort. If you buy the big 10 ft PVC pipe piece then they can cut it into any length you want. I had them cut ours into 2 ft lengths. I believe it was the 1/2 inch pipes and fittings that we bought. Then you could go to a fabric store and just buy some yards of fabric and some clothes pins or big clips and they could use that for the building materials. You can go to the clearance section and get all kinds of patterns, colors and textures for the kids to build with
I know its not a set but its a do-it-yourself kind of thing.
