What Is Your Favorite Bath Soap?

My family uses Pure and Natural from Dial. They stopped making it a couple of years ago so I wrote to the company and bought what they had left, which was a couple of cases. Now we're running low and I have no idea what to buy. Before my husband and I got together I used Dove, and really like it, but it leaves a film and my husband doesn't like it.

So what soap do you buy for you and your family?

Thanks in advance!!

S.

Trader Joe's.
I like the honey oatmeal, DH likes the tea tree.
No film. Just nice, chemical free soap.

I only use regular Dove bar soap. It makes my skin feel clean and not dried out. Just because hubby doesn't like the Dove does not mean you can't use it. He can use what he wants just as you can do the same.

Ivory. Just the plain old bar soap.

I was just about to say Dove when I read your husband didn't like it. What about glyserine soap?

Liquid ivory in the blue omg it smells amazing just very fresh and clean my husband loves it we have been using it for three years. It's $3.50 a bottle and there are always coupons in the paper for it in the paper.

I have really sensitive skin, so I use California Baby calming baby wash. It doesn't leave a film and smells really good. I use it on myself and my kids. My husband likes lever 2000 bar soap.

Mine is all natural and hand made by a coworker of mine. Costs $5 a bar, but a bar lasts a month, with 3 people using it to shower.

I really like Lever for the whole family. I think it comes in a few different scents. For me, I personally like shower gels from Bath/Body Works and I change up the scent depending on what time of the year. I also like oatmeal/almond soap like from Yardley (which I think you can even get from the dollar store). I used Dove growing up because that's what my Mom bought and I remember how soft my skin was and it smelled good. I know they have many different scents now and perhaps the Dove shower gel would be better instead of the actual soap. Good luck on finding one your family likes!

You could try Cetaphil.

I like Dove myself and don't feel filmy. Maybe try a few versions if one feels weird.

Depending on the family member, moisturizing shower gel, Cetaphil or plain old bar Ivory.

I use Jergens, It is cheap and doesn't dry out or overmoisturize my skin. That being said, my husband gets really dry skin in the winter so I buy Dove or Oil of Olay soap for him.

For me, I make my own bath salts and body scrub from Dead Sea and Epsom and sea salts mixed with oatmeal and powdered milk. I will use large Costco bottles of shampoo as a body soap if I need it.

I buy my husband a Goat's Milk bars from Costco.

And I buy large, liquid shampoo bottles from Costco to wash both hair and body. Whatever is on sale and whatever smells good. Although I bought Axe for my son for recently and he smells so manly.

We use Neutrogena Rainbath and Shower and Bath Gel. My husband even uses it but he may not be as pickey has your husband. Good luck! Switching brands is NEVER fun.

There is an awesome olive oil soap at Mother's in a plastic wrapper called Agno. It's a greek soap, and it's AWESOME. They sell it in a chamomile, lavendar or no scent. It leaves no film, but leaves your skin feeling clean and silky smooth. It's also fairly inexpensive.
