We had a water leak in our attic that damaged our 2nd floor and also ran down the insude of our walls to our main floor and under our hardwood floors.
I am new to the area and am not sure who to contact for repair estimates. We have drywall damage as well as hardwood floor damage. Has anyone had similar damage they needed repaired? Any referrals/advice are greatly appreciated!
First you need to decide whether or not you're going to involve your insurance company or not. If you do, they will no doubt be able to provide a list of people to use. If you have the real hardwood floors that are sanded and stained, I would use PTI hardwoods. Do not use Dobson Floors. We have used both companies and PTI did a much much better job.
I am not sure how long ago this happened...but you need to contact someone about getting the water dried out. I had coker floors bring special drying machines out to reduce the chances of mold. They also deal in hardwood floors and would be able to point you in the right direction. Coker Floor C. ###-###-####.
