I'm not sure whether I'm comfortable sending cards to school with my 3 year old. Isn't she a little young for this?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks everyone. You're all right. For my daughter Valentine's Day is about the joy. I'd not even thought about using them for learning things. I'm going to take some of my Creative Memories tools and make the cards tonight.

You can purchase cards with cartoon characters on them or the Disney Princess cards (very cute for little girls to hand out). She's NOT too young. It's all done in fun anyway. It's a fun day, so ask your daughter if she is wanting to do it and then let her pick out the cards. She will have a good time!!

Hello,
I have a small greeting card business named Heartfelt Expressions which I really enjoy. I have been in business about a year and design cards for holidays, birthdays, etc.; including valentines day. I design cards that are appropriate for both children and adults. I would love to direct you to my website wich is www.heartfelt-expressions.net. Let me know if you are interested!

I agree with Anne. Valentine's Day when you're that young holds none of the romantic connotations that you give it when you're older. It was just pure joy to give a card to everyone in class and receive yours in turn. Get some cute ones at the grocery store and let her have fun with it.

No, three is not too young. Look at it this way, don't you like getting cards in the mail from friends? Well, why can't she get cute little cards from her friends at school???
And you can also use the cards she gets to work on letters. You can pick up a pack at Target for $3.00.
I still remember getting them when I was that young. I looked at them everyday for months it seemed.
