Okay ladies, I'm 34 yrs. old, and I have noticed the past few years I have gotten thicker, courser hair on my arms, back of my neck (crazy hairline), and of course my legs. My face is also very hairy and I am sooooo tired of plucking and grooming my "stache" LOL Anyone else experience any of this as you got older... would Veet work on course dark hair on my arms for example? I have a fair complexion with lots of freckles. I just need some reassurance that I am not the only "hairy beast" out there!!!!! TIa

I've always had lots of hair. On my arms, face, chin, etc. I was plucking every day, it was awful!! The best thing I've ever done for myself is laser hair removal. I first had it done on my face. I've never felt so feminine!!! Since then I've also had my underarms and bikini area done (still working on those). My next area is my legs, but I'm waiting for the winter to do that. You do have to go in for touch up with laser, about once a year after your initial visits, but it's a lot less expensive than your initial treatments. The only thing that might not make you a good candidate is your freckles, but you might want to look into it.

The only place I'm really not going to do is my arms. I've found that waxing every 3 months does the trick, and the hair has actually thinned out since I've been doing it on a regular basis.

Don't worry, you are not the only "hairy beast" out there!! Good luck!!

I've always heard that waxing is best for arm hair. Also, if you are fair and have dark hair and money is not an object, have you considered laser hair removal?

Btw, you are not the only hairy lady out there, I assure you.

C.,

You need Cloud 9 in Flower Mound/Highland Village in your life. Please go and see Shanna and she is AWESOME! I would HIGHLY recommend her services. She is an esthetician and specializes in waxing and laser (along with other things). You will be so happy with your results...soon you'll be wanting to know why you waited so long...Good Luck!

It's called "aging".... sorry, there's no cure for it! But I recommend "threading" for the face, or if you have the money and have dark hair, laser.

Styles of India in Irving does threading and I think it lasts longer than waxing, does less damage to my sensitive skin and costs about the same of a few dollars less.
