Trying to Make Baby #2 - South Jordan,UT

OK so I am going to revise my previous question:
#1, there's the time frame from 'fertile days' to next period when I'm sittin' there wondering "am I pregnant?"
and of course, refraining from drinking, because of the possibility... (taking a test prior to the 'missed period' is a waste because your body takes time to show the pregnancy in the urine chemical etc...or so i have read...)----This #1 is more of a statement than a Q, lol
#2, I just realized that I don't know if holding my body in a position to keep the 'fluids inside' is important or not?
I'm quite certain that it can happen in almost any situation, but I just wonder if there's anything special I am missing 'in the bedroom?'
(LOL!)

What can I do next?

You know, I've always wondered that myself, LOL!! But, I will admit, that with my 2 younger kids (3 & 7mo), I would always place a larger pillow under my butt to kind of elevate myself! I really couldn't tell you if it makes a difference or not. My husband laughed at me every single time!! I got pregnant right away with my 3yr old...Like literally the same month I got off the pill. With my 7mo old it took about 4mos. But, like I said, I always put a pillow underneath myself for a little while!
Don't think too hard about it...That ends up taking the fun away!
Good luck with #2!

I don't think it matters. The fertile fluid will take care of everything. Unless, you have a problem of conceiving, I'd say that your position is fine. =)

Best answer I can give you is stop trying. the harder you try you won't get pregnant. My husband and I tried from March last year until May when he left for deployment for Afghanistan. He came home in July and was home for two weeks. We didn't let up for those entire two weeks, we weren't trying because we had stopped trying. After he left on the 1st of August to go back, two weeks later I found out I was pregnant with our son. He was born March 31st this year. We knew we wanted another baby like right after so we started again 3 weeks after my son was born, again we tried and nothing happened. We moved to South Korea in August and I found out I was pregnant with baby number 2 in September. again this time we didn't try it just happened. Good luck. hahahaha

when i was trying to get pregnant with my ex husband, i did all the things you're talking about. i sat practically on my head after sex to keep it all in there. after two years of this--nothing. a few years later i started dating someone else, definitely trying NOT to get pregnant, and one month later i was pregnant. story of my life. if it's going to happen it's going to happen.

I read an article when I was pregnant with my first baby nearly 10 years ago that a woman is MOST likely to become pregnant within the first 7 - 10 days after her period ends. With that said, looking at my track record, as I'm pregnant with the 4th, that is the time frame I became pregnant with each child.

I wouldn't worry so much about refraining from drinking because you don't know if you are pregnant or not. I am willing to bet that I am not the only woman who enjoyed a glass of wine or two and never knew she was pregnant. All of my babies turned out fine so far.

I do not necessarily believe that there is any particular position to hold yourself in to ensure conception but I wouldn't necessarily make a mad dash to the bathroom immediately after sex either if you are indeed trying to become pregnant. Lay in bed together, savoring the moment a few minutes longer. It's good cuddle time!
